Posting policy.

What you may share about your WHIP panels and your storms, here and anywhere else, and what stays private to each license. Written and approved by EVAC.

Clause 21 of the WHIP MK I agreement says owners may not share EVAC plans or products, run demonstrations or arrange outside testing without EVAC's written permission. This page is that written permission for the items under "You may share", and only those. It applies on this forum and everywhere else, including social media.

You may share

  • Photos and video of your own finished panels, on or off your vehicle, here or anywhere else you post.
  • Storm stories: where you were, what the weather did, how you got ready and how long fitting and removal took.
  • Questions and tips about your own build, fit and storage, in your own words.
  • Your county, the storm's timing and what you saw, so the next owner in your area gets a head start.

Please do not share

  • The document itself, or any page, photo, screenshot, drawing, measurement or quote from it.
  • The parts list, in whole or in part, or a list of the parts you used that recreates it.
  • Test claims: no posts saying a panel stopped hail of a given size, survived a given wind speed, or resisted an impact, a projectile or a firearm, whether the result was good or bad. EVAC makes no such claims, and an unofficial test is not a measure of the product.
  • Offers to sell, lend, transfer or share a license, a document or a finished panel. Each license is personal to its buyer.
  • Anyone else's personal details, advertising, or posts that attack another member.

1.On this forum

Posts are text only for now; links are fine. Anyone can read the boards, and posting takes a free account. A green "Verified owner" badge next to a name means that member holds a WHIP license with an issued serial number.

2.How EVAC moderates

EVAC may remove a post, lock a topic or stop an account from posting when something breaks this policy. A removed post is hidden, not edited. Members can still read the boards after a block, and their account and licenses are unaffected.
