Storm protection for car and truck door windows in the Pacific Northwest and the West CoastAtmospheric river.
Covered for the crossing.

Coastal storms arrive in trains through the winter, and the wind that comes with them throws whatever the last one loosened. Inland, spring brings hail to the valleys.

Winter windstorms October to March. Spring hail in the interior valleys and the Cascades.

Pacific Northwest

What the weather does to a vehicle here.

  • Windstorm debris

Winter fronts off the Pacific bring wind that drops limbs and moves gravel and roofing across the road.

  • Coastal squalls

Squall lines cross the coast with driving rain and small hail, often several in a day.

  • Valley and mountain hail

Spring storms in the interior valleys and over the passes can drop quarter to golf-ball hail.

Questions from Pacific Northwest

Before you pay.

Protects against hail, debris and weather-driven projectiles. Not bullet resistant. Not wind rated.

Is it for rain?
It is built for hail, debris and weather-driven projectiles. It does not seal the vehicle against water.
Can it stay on for a week of storms?
It is not built to stay on. EVAC's documents say it is not for permanent mounting and that time in the sun wears the polycarbonate, so put it on for the warning and take it off after.
How is it stored?
In its own bag, dry, out of direct sun.
Does it fit a work van?
If the van's door has three straight edges large enough for the hooks and straps, and the panel fits within 36 by 36 inches, it can. Ask EVAC before you buy if you are unsure.

Storms don't wait.
Be ready.

Fifteen minutes on, five minutes off, and it stores in its bag. Order before the season, not during it.
