A black pickup with a WHIP guard on each door driving through heavy rain, water spraying from the wheels, palms behind

How it works

Quick on.
Quick off.

No modification to the vehicle. About fifteen minutes to fit and five to remove. Tape any spot where a hook or strap touches paint: EVAC does not cover paint damage.

  1. 01

    Out of the bag

The kit stores in its own bag and comes out as one panel for one door.

It rides in its own carrying bag. No case, no cart, no second trip to the truck.

  2. 02

    Over and into the frame

Each panel hangs over and into the door frame, and is used with the door properly latched. Nothing is bolted, drilled or stuck to the vehicle.

It leaves the same way it arrived: nothing added to the vehicle, nothing to undo later.

  3. 03

    Covered

Hail and storm debris meet the guard instead of the window glass beneath it.

Those are the license agreement's own words, and this site does not go past them.

  4. 04

    Off in five

It comes off in about five minutes and goes back in the bag.

Faster off than on, so the vehicle is back in service the moment the sky clears.

One person

No tools. No help.

The panels lift over the top of the door and settle into the frame. The straps pull tight, the doors stay latched, and the whole thing is on before the first stones land. Taking it off is faster than putting it on.

  • Lifts over the frame

The panel settles into place over the top of the door and into the frame itself.

  • Straps pull tight

The doors stay latched the whole time the panel is on.

  • Off faster than on

No tools either way, and the whole thing slides back into its bag.

At a glance

WHIP in seven facts.

What it is
WHIP is a clear, double-pane polycarbonate guard for a vehicle door window, designed by The Enhanced Vehicle Armor Company (EVAC), a U.S. veteran-owned company in Beaufort, South Carolina. Patent pending.
How it attaches
Three J-hooks hang it over the top of the door frame, and side and bottom ratchet straps hold it, with the door latched. Nothing on the vehicle is modified.
What it protects
The area beneath the panel, which is most of the door window and part of the door, from hail, debris and weather-driven projectiles. The glass may still break.
What it is not
Not bullet resistant and not wind rated. It covers the window area under the panel, not the paint or body of the vehicle.
Time
About fifteen minutes on and five minutes off. It stores in its own carrying bag and is not for permanent mounting.
Fit
One license covers one door. The door needs three straight edges large enough for the hooks and straps, and the panel can be no larger than 36 by 36 inches. Tape any spot where a hook or strap touches paint.
Price
Priced per door. The WHIP MK I license is $99.00. The parts list in the document totals $633.28 for one panel, plus cleaning supplies and tools you may already own.

Storms don't wait.
Be ready.

Fifteen minutes on, five minutes off, and it stores in its bag. Order before the season, not during it.
