Hurricane season
Long before the eye, the outer bands throw palm fronds, shingles and yard debris across everything outside, parked or on the road out. The kit goes on when the watch is issued, rides with you if you leave, and comes off when the sky clears.
What it throws at a vehicle
Fronds, limbs, roofing and anything loose in a yard become projectiles in the first bands.
Bands cross with wind-driven rain and whatever the wind picks up on the way.
A hurricane watch gives a day or more. Fifteen minutes of it is enough to cover the doors.
Debris and weather-driven projectiles at the doors and the glass they cover, in the hours before and after a storm.
The kit is not wind rated and the agreement says so plainly. It is not a seal against water or surge. Not bullet resistant.

Two ways in for hurricane season
Priced per door. Each license comes with the document stamped to you, a serial-numbered certificate of authenticity by mail, and a 90-day fit rebate.
