Northeast

What the weather does to a vehicle here.

  • Nor'easter debris

Wind off the water throws limbs, shingles and ice across yards and streets for a day or more.

  • Summer hail lines

Fast squall lines from the west drop hail on the corridor from Philadelphia to Boston most summers.

  • Ice and blown snow

Winter storms leave ice on everything and wind that moves it.

What it is built to take

Emergency services: what's next

Questions from Northeast

Before you pay.

Protects against hail, debris and weather-driven projectiles. Not bullet resistant. Not wind rated.

Does it work in the snow?
It is built for hail, debris and weather-driven projectiles, including ice and wind-blown debris. It does not seal the vehicle.
Is street parking a problem?
No. It hangs over and into the door frame on the vehicle itself. Nothing is fixed to the ground or the curb.
What ships?
Only your certificate sticker, by certified mail. WHIP MK I is a document: you buy the parts and build the guard yourself.
Can a town department use it?
Not yet. WHIP MK I is licensed for personal use. Departments can tell Ken what they would need on the emergency services page.
